Imaginary Roosters

tracing fingers like roosters
imaginary friends
imaginary dreams
pretending to touch the incorporeal
is about as isolating as touching yourself
and if bolting the doors from the inside is completely necessary
then I’ll climb through the windows
if I have listen to my “inner monologue” one more time
