I have a bad case of the sickyboos so this will be short and sweet.

I just find it kind of cool and strange how over time words change in connotation. A douche still is a douche– a vagina cleaning bag thingy– but just to hear it used in a non-insulting way is peculiar. You almost find yourself giggling “don’t they know what they’re saying?” But they DO know what they’re saying. Douche just sounds like such a dirty word, but a douche is just a douche in France.

So maybe the blax were on to something they decided to take the “nigger” word back. God knows I use it, certainly not to feel empowered. Reappropriating it as a term of endearment is a bit odd, but who knows maybe in 100, 200 years you’ll all just be “mah nigga,” no matter what color or creed you are.

And to me, that’s just beautiful.

Although, I’ve never seen two women more excited to finally get rid of that not so fresh feeling! You don’t really see commercials like this anymore, I wonder why marketing to the “my mom is my best friend” demographic doesn’t exist anymore. Prolly cause that demographic never existed? Way to answer your own question, douche.

I am fucking sick. LIKE REALLY SICK.
