I found a book compilation of bad New York Post headlines, probably published by themselves. Even they acknowledge that they are not a real newspaper just a bunch of “sassy” retards. Have these headlines honestly pulled you in? I mean if they would have just said “JonBenet Killer Lands in U.S. Jail” wouldn’t you have picked up the paper if you were interested.

Excuse the shitty cellphone pictures. But seriously? Does this not blow you away? How dumb is the world? Or how dumb do we think the world is? I get that there are a lot of stupid people. But media is basically the direct link between everyone in this country, no matter who you are, chances are you look at the newspaper, the television, the internet.

Media establishes the standard of intelligence in this country. The only way to make people smarter is by surrounding them with shit that’s just a smidgen more intelligent. If you HAVE to be just a little bit smart to interact with the world then people will HAVE to get a little bit smarter.

What I mean is television, movies, the internet, newspapers, magazines expose us to images and words that when we see them frequently enough we begin to use them and reference them in our daily life. So instead of knowing what “rofl” means why not integrate just a tad more “smarts” into our shit.
